Sharon Bang, LMFT
I want to help you understand yourself better in a way that leads to more compassion for yourself and where insight sparks meaningful change. I’m here to offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore difficult emotions, manage stress, and improve your relationships.
As a Christian licensed marriage and family therapist based in Orange County, I’ve partnered with individuals, couples, families, and groups and I’m honored they’ve shared their story with me. Being Korean-American, I bring a culturally sensitive perspective to my practice, and I’m fluent in both English and conversational Korean.
Before my private practice, I saw clients at Concordia University Irvine’s counseling center. I’m proud to currently serve on the board of directors for Seeds Therapy, a nonprofit that provides essential mental health care to students. This aligns with my belief in the profound impact therapy can have, especially when initiated early on.
I believe the therapeutic relationship between you and me is the most important part in how effective counseling is. I’ve found that a safe and supportive relationship is key in facilitating the kind of meaningful change we hope for. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for a chance to talk, connect and see if I am the right therapist and fit for you.
